We had to use letters, numbers, and symbols to make an animal. We were only allowed to flip and rotate the letters. Different fonts within a font family were permitted as well. We were not allowed to stretch the letters (must hold down shift).

 

After creating the animal, we had to draw it to scale by hand. It was one of those "back in my days" cases.
